Operations
Hummingbird Resources currently operates two core gold projects, the Yanfolila Gold Mine in Mali, and the Kouroussa Gold Mine in Guinea. Further, the Company has a 53% shareholding of Pasofino Gold Limited (TSX: VEIN) who are developing the Dugbe Gold Project in Liberia.
Mali
The Yanfolila Gold Mine is situated in the southern region of Mali, West Africa. The project commenced construction in October 2016 and was built on time and on budget, pouring first gold before year- end 2017 and has paid off over US$100 million in debt and associated costs in less than four years since operations began.
Guinea
The Kouroussa Gold Mine is Hummingbird's second producing gold mine. Kouroussa is forecast to be a high-grade, low-cost mine which will produce an average of 100,000 oz per annum over the life of mine. The life of mine is a minimum of seven years with upside potential through additional exploration, with first gold pour achieved on 8 June 2023.
Liberia
The Dugbe Gold Mine has a Resource base of over 4 million ounces over a c.2,500 square kilometre exploration license area.
